Setting Process of the "History of the All-Union Communist Party(Bolsheviks)" into College Curriculum after the founding of New China

To study the of the All-Union Communist Party(Bolsheviks) is an important content of the fundamentals of Marxism in the college curriculum set after the founding of New China.After series of implementations,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Higher Education took History of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union(Bolsheviks): Short Course as the core textbook,clarified the basic norms and requirements for teaching in class,and promoted systematic study of the course in colleges and universities at various levels in China.Due to reasons such as the Sino-Soviet interparty relations and reflections on the Soviet model,the course was cancelled after the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.However,while its negative impacts on history education and studies of Party history should never be neglected,the course's positive contributions must be acknowledged.It helped our country both enhance socialist construction in ideological mobilization and in theoretical and practical reference,and extend the path to Sinicizing,temporizing,and popularizing Marxism.
