Abstract

For No.4 slab caster of JISCO,the reasons of breakout by sticking of 50# steel slab were analyzed systematically. Then some measures were put forward from mould powder, mould, cooling water and process operation, etc.and carried on.The results showed that the 50# steel production is free of breakout by sticking and stable.
