EXPRESSION OF IP-10 AND ITS MRNA IN PERIPHERAL BLOOD OF PATIENTS WITH CIRRHOSIS

Abstract

[Objective]To explore the expression of IP-10 and its mRNA in peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMC)among patients with cirrhosis.[Methods]Patients with cirrhosis after infection of HBV were selected,and the concentration of IP-10 in serum was detected with ELISA;the expression of IP-10 mRNA in PBMC was measured by using Real-time PCR,the level of IP-10 mRNA was represented by the level of lg cDNA/lg GAPDH.[Results]The level of IP-10 in serum and the level of mRNA in PBMC of patients with cirrhosis were(299.3 77.2)pg/ml and 0.7479 0.1495,respectively,which were significantly higher than those of control group(P﹤0.01);IP-10 mRNA in PBMC showed significantly association with IP-10 in serum(r = 0.5747,P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]The levels of IP-10 and the IP-10 mRNA in peripheral blood of patients with cirrhosis showed to be increased,which play a key role in the progression of posthepatitic cirrhosis.
