The Methodology of Social Gender Analysis and Research On Feminist Economics——Challenges to the Mainstream Neoclassical Economics

The roots of the feminist economics,which has come to be widely recognized as a distinct field of economics in the 1990s,are to be found in theoretical developments in both neoclassical economics and feminist theory from around the 1960s.Feminist economics,resorting to the concept of social gender,has criticized and challenged the mainstream neoclassical economics in subjects,contents,assumptions,and methodology,etc,which has made significant methodological implications for contemporary economic methodology.
