Professor Lin believes that the causes of diabetes foot wounds can be summarized as the following factors:the deficiency of the Liver-Yin and the Kidney-Yin;the disharmony between Ying and Wei;the obstruction of collaterals by blood stasis;the impairment of muscles and tendoms by heat;the accumulation of phlegm-dampness in the collaterals.Treatment should invigorating Qi, nourishing Yin and activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis.
