Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of tension band subcutaneous wire fixation(TBSWF) combined with hollow screw on.Methods: Twenty-eight patients with patella fractures were retrospective analyzed. Results: Fracture healing rate of twenty-eight patients followed up for an average of 9 months was 100%.The excellent rate in knee function was 92.9% according to Lu's general standards of knee joint function. Conclusion: There were satisfactory curative effect of TBSWF combined with hollow screws on transverse, longitudinal and avulsion fractures of patella. This combined operation has advantages as follow: less invasion towards anterior patellar structures and more applicability.
