Information management system of city road planning

Based on the present condition and future development requirement,and by using new techniques in database managiment system (DBMS) and geographical information system (GIS),the development target of the information management system of the city road planning is presented in detail in this paper. The project of the system is given and the software of the system is developed. Its application suggests that the system not only achieves the effective management of the road planning information but also provides the basis for the future city geographic information system.
