Abstract
The dyeing conditions for a fast protein staining method, combining microwaveheating with Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250(CBB G-250),were investigated in SDS-PAGE.The whole procedure, which can be finished within 1 hour,is much faster than the conventional CBB R-250 staining protocol. No organic solvent and other acids but 3mmol/L hydrochloric acid was used in the method, which is benefical to operators and environment-friendly.Moreover,the obtained sensitivity was similar with that of the classic staining protocol. The method is applicable to the rapid analysis of protein electrophoresis in the experimental teaching and scientific research.
