Method of Fuzzy Control for Distribution Time of Multi-phase Traffic Signal

Abstract

Based on data collection and statistics of traffic flow at the intersection,the method of fuzzy control for multi-phase traffic signals and the algorithm of distribution time for green light were proposed.The practical results indicate that the fuzzy controller can conduct intelligent and accurate controlling of traffic at the intersection.
