Abstract

The epidemic tendency and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria at the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were analyzed as follows: Of 1 911 strains of pathogenic bacteria, 1 125 strains (58.9 %)were Gram-negative bacteria , 596 (31.2 %) Gram-positive bacteria , 190 (9.9 %) fungi. Also of the 1 911 strains, ESBLs were produced, including bacillus coli (8.9 %) and Klbsiella pneuminiae (10.2 %); 9 strains of MRSA (50 %); and 172 strains of MRSCoN (69.3 %).
