Abstract
Most of the scholars have insisted on that the correct meaning of the word haoqiu(好逑)should be good spouse since ancient times.In this paper the author puts forward a lot of evidence and prove that the true meaning of this character hao(好) should be beloved and the word haoqiu(好逑) means sweetheart.
