Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of Methotrexate combined with Mifepristone on serum human chorionic gonadotropin( β-HCG) and side reaction in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy. Methods: The clinical data of 110 cases of patients in our hospital for the treatment of ectopic pregnancy from December 2010 to December2013 were reviewed, which, according to the different treatments given, were divided into two groups. While the55 patients in the control group underwent the treatment with Methotrexate, the 55 patients in the study group were treated with Mifepristone combined with Methotrexate. The indexes of curative effect, serum β- HCG and improvement of the size of masses and side reaction of the two groups were observed and compared. Results: The indexes of curative effect of the study group were better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant( P 0. 01). The serum β-HCG and size of mass of the two groups were both significantly improved, and the improvement in the study group was more obvious, with statistically significant differences within groups and between groups( P 0. 05 or P 0. 01). Compared with the control group, the incidence of side reaction in the study group showed no significant difference( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Methotrexate combined with Mifepristone is of positive effect on serum β-HCG and prognosis in the treatment of ectopic pregnancy, which can enhance the efficacy and produce better prognosis.
