The Yuan Dynasty was a special period in the history of China,different from former dynasties and the latter dynasties in many aspects.Scholars survived in the cracks without promotion or recluseness,and they hooked up with the crowd,mourning for or complaining about or satirize the society.The Shuihu dramas popular in Shandong were unique and their authors wanted to realize the ideal unable to achieve in reality with the help of the Shuihu dramas so as to doing good deeds to the world although poor.
