Empirical Analysis of the Efficiency of Environmental Protection Investment and Policy Recommendations

Through the empirical test of the efficiency of environmental protection investment in China,authors found that China's annual investment in environmental protection was increasing.Compared with own high-speed growth of ervironmental investment,the effects of pollution control were satisfactory.In particular,emissions of pollutants showed an upward trend year after year,and increased significantly.The main reason is that the environmental protection investment in China is ineffective.Enhancing the operational efficiency of China's environmental protection investment should be achieved by following measares: improve the public regulatory measures,improve the investment and financing mechanism,improve the transformation ability to scientific and technological achievements,promote the strategic adjustment of environmental protection industry and optimization of industrial structure,and develop the relevant financial incentives.
