Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the feasibility of tissue doppler imaging(TDI) in normal fetuses, and to analyze peak velocitiea of atriovenrticular annulus and to measure the natural cost. Methods:Tissus doppler images were obtained in 552 normal fetuses. The subjects were divided into three age groups.Measurements included peak velocities of the mitral annulus(MA) and the tricuspid annulus(TA) during systole and diastole. Results:Tissus dopplerimages can display syllabify the motion of the mitral annulus and the tricuspid annulus.Systolic and diastolic peak velocities and Ea/Aa of both MA and TA increased with increasing of gestational age.The peal velocities of TA were bigger than those of MA(P0.01).Conclusion:TDI is useful in assessing the motion of MA and TA in fetuses and observing age-related alterations. Then to value the fetal cardiac function.
