Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between blood and urine Cystatin C and 2h urinary protein, and to explore the diagnostic value of blood and urine Cystatin C in patients with diabetic nephropathy(DN).Methods Blood and urine cystatin C,creatinine, and 24 h urinary protein of 30 healthy persons and 118 diabetic patients were detected, according to results of 24 h urinary protein, the diabetic patients were divided into three groups and the correlation was analyzed. Results Compared with the control group, serum Cys C in the early group and the clinical group of diabetic nephropathy were significantly increased(P0.01),blood Cystatin C and 24 h urinary protein levels were positively correlated, the correlation coefficient was 0.855.The level of Urinary Cys C/CR test results in the early group and the clinical group of diabetic nephropathy were increased and the level of 24 h urine protein test results was less relevant, with the correlation coefficient of 0.509.Conclusion Blood and urine Cystatin C were sensitive and specific indicators for glomerular damage and renal tubular dysfunction in patients with diabetic nephropathy.
