Abstract
The carbonate reservoir is characterized by low porosity,strong anisotropy and heterogeneity.The accurate division of reservoir levels is one of the most important tasks in carbonate reservoir evaluation.Based on conventional logging data and oil testing of carbonate reservoir,analyzed are the logging response characteristics of carbonate reservoir,extracted are the parameters which are sensitive to physical properties of the reservoir.Each sensitive parameter is endowed with a weight value.Combining with oil testing and production test data,the discrimination model is obtained by comprehensive analyses and logic inference.Finally a set of division method of the reservoir levels is set up.The traditional qualitative interpretation has quantitative conception as result of the method.Good results have been obtained in practical log applications.
