The Feedback System of Officials in Emperor Huizong's Period of Song Dynasty

Despite the dimness and corruption in administration in Emperor Huizong's Period of Song Dynasty,it still made lots of endeavors in the Feedback System of officials.In the assessment of the officials from the imperial court,the index of the working quality and quantity was adopted,which made the officials of the six key government offices in the central court further improve their work style and work efficiency.In the assessment of the officials in charge of Provincial education,it made a countermeasure from the practice so as not to get over-perfect results,accordingly,adjusting the judging standards.The feedback system of officials was in some sense improved in the supervision of each other.However,the Feedback System of officials in Emperor Huizong's Period of Song Dynasty over focused on the profit achievements,which resulted in the corruption of local government officials.The administration improvement of the Feedback System of officials did not change the environment of administration,which led to the disastrous consequences for the officials' greed,making more conflicts in society.Undoubtedly,Emperor Huizong was a fatuous and self-indulgent ruler,but he gave the world some lessons and experiences on the assessment of the officials,which is meaningful.
