Abstract
The flow injection analysis(FIA) spectrophotometry was employed for the determination of cyanide in water, and the data obtained were compared with those obtained from the standard method of pyridine-barbituric acid spectrophotometry. The results showed no statistically significant differences between these two methods. The precision, accuracy and other indexes accorded with the analysis criteria.Based on the established FIA spectrophotometry, the preservation conditions of cyanide were investigated in water. The results showed that the water must be detected after sampling,or else the samples should be preserved for not more than 24 h in alkali conditions(pH 13) and at low temperature(4 ℃).
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
