Abstract
[Objective] To establish a method for determination of cyanide in water by flow injection analysis(FIA).[Methods] Cyanide in water was detected by FIA,and the best experimental conditions were chosen.[Results] Under the best conditions, the linear range was 2.0-200.0 μg/L,and the detection limit of the method was 0.39 μg/L,with the relative standard deviations(RSD) of the determination of standard solution being 0.74%-3.19%.For analysis of water, this method obtained the satisfactory result, and the average recovery was 95.8%-106.1%.As compared with national standard methods as isonicotinic acid-barbituric acid spectrophotometry, flow injection analysis showed no significant difference in determination.[Conclusion] This method is sensitive and suitable for the determination of cyanide in water.
