Abstract

The characteristic database construction, which is the core content of characteristic digital information resource construction of the library, is the responsibility of higher vocational college library endowed by The General Academic Library Code(Revised). This paper discusses the significance of the construction of characteristic database of the library of higher vocational college, and probes into the selected subjects, construction principles and construction modes of characteristic database.
