Discussion on the Significance of and Methods for the Construction of Digital Resources in the Library of Higher Vocational College——Based on the Example of the Library of Guangdong Polytechnic College

This paper analyzes the significance of the construction of digital resources in higher vocational college’s library, and introduces several methods for constructing the digital resources in higher vocational college’s library, including directly buying ready-made database, developing characteristic database based on library’s existing collection resources, and building distinctive database and virtual collection, etc.
