Abstract
Ganoderma lucidum strains with higher biomass and higher mycelium growth rate in submerged culture were screened out from 24 G. lucidum strains collected. The result of antagonistic test and proteinase isozyme test showed that G2 and G15, G33 and G27 were two groups of synonym strains. Further test of submerged culture verified that the polysaccharide content and mycelial biomass of G.lucidum strain 0770 were relatively high among 8 G.lucidum strains screened out. And G. lucidum strain 0770 was considered to be the optimum strain for submerged culture.
