Survey for Birds of Mianzhu County in Sichuan Province

Abstract

This paper gives a report on the birds in Mianzhu County.These birds belong to 153 species,36 families and 14 orders.Among them,3 species are in the first class of wild animals protected by national laws and 16 species in the second class,5 species are protected by provincial laws.14 species are special in China.Besides,136 species belong to reproductive birds and 17 species to non-reproductive birds.The regional composition and characteristics are discussed.The variety,quantity and diversity of species at different habitats are also concerned in the paper.
