Abstract

The seepage through an earth dam is analyzed with FEM;the comparison of the computed seepage line with the actual measured seepage line shows that the former is higher than the later,so the seepage water maybe has the possibility of running out from the downstream slope of the dam under the check flood level of the reservoir.
