Abstract

Field experiment, from 2006 to 2008,was conducted to compare produce performance of sole sowing and mixture sowing of Medicago sativa L.Algonguin and Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.cvGansuat Hezuo. The results showed that mixture sowing of Medicago sativa L.Algonguin and Onobrychis Viciaefolia Scop.cv.Gansu was the best model to establish perennial artificial legume grassland in alpine pasture area, followed by sole sowing of Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.cv.Gansu.Dry yield of mixture sowing was 12 136 kg/hm2,increasing 14.5% and 42.0% compare to sole sowing of Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.cv.Gansuand Medicago sativa L.Algonguin in the second year, respectively.Dry yield of sole sowing of Onobrychis viciaefolia Scop.cv.Gansu was higher than sole sowing Medicago sativa L.Algonguin.Dry yield of mixture sowing was up to 13 286 kg/hm2,increasing 22.8% and 71.0% compare to sole sowing of Onobrychis Viciaefolia Scop.cv.Gansuand Medicago sativa L.Algonguin in the third year.
