Abstract

Data warehouse and Online Analytical Processing technology(OLAP) are two new-type decision supported technologies.These two kinds of technologies are combined mutually,which open up a new way for DSS.This paper sums up and analyses the relevant basic technology about data warehouse and OLAP,and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services used for database development, researches the Applying of Online Analytical processing(OLAP) technology on the students' electing-course analysis system.
