Theoretical Research Progress and Appraisal on Urban and Rural Economic Integration

Economic integration of urban and rural areas is the foundation and the main content of urban-rural integration.Based on the research literatures at home and abroad on the urban-rural integration,this article introduces the connotation of urban-rural integration,and then sums up the main issues the Chinese and foreign scholars concerned.At the same time,a representative result and the various economic-interaction models of the urban and rural are introduced in this paper.Finally,the authors point out the problems about the urban and rural economic development,and the urban-rural network structure should be the future focus of the study.
