Abstract
Objective To investigate the different pathological periods of rabbits with acute bacterial cholecystitis in order to select the best time for cholecystitis surgery. Methods The model of bacterial cholecystitis of rabbits were established. The blood test was conducted and the pathological specimens were checked after 3 days,7 days and 10 days respectively, and compared with the control group. Results The control group: the cystic structures were normal;the group of 3th day: the gallbladder wall was obvious edematous, massive neutrophil infiltrated, tissue was fragile and easily bleed;the group of 7th day: edema of the gallbladder wall was alleviated,a small amount of fibrous tissue was hyperplastic, the boundary of gallbladder was clear, surgery was easy to be operated, and amount of bleeding was less;the group of 10th day: a mass of fibrous tissue around the gallbladder wall was hyperplastic, the adhesion of surrounding tissue was sever, the boundary of gallbladder was not clear, and it was difficult to be separated. Conclusion The onset of the 7th day is the best timing of surgery for cholecystitis.
