Abstract

CDHydro /CDHDS technology developed by CDtech Company,US,was used to hydrotreat catalytic cracking( FCC) gasoline in a refinery of China. The technology combined the hydrodesulfurization and catalytic distillation processes in one column, and realized an ideal separation between light and heavy gasoline. The results showed that it presented a good desulfurization effect without significant loss of octane number. The mass fractions of sulfur in light and heavy gasoline were decreased to 5. 4 × 10-6and 38. 0 × 10-6respectively,and the volume fraction of olefin in heavy gasoline was decreased to 33%.
