Abstract
The paper used on-line analysis software BLAST,Neural Network Promoter Prediction,TF SEARCH and so on,to predict promoter, open reading frame(ORF),CpG island and transcriptional factors binding sites on 5'UTR sequence properties of PGC1-α in Chicken. The results showed that its homology with PGC1-α between chicken and other species was up to 84 %.The promoter regions might locate at 1 900 bp,and the CpG islands located between 1 900~2 100 bp,and there were 12 potential promoters in this region.By bioinformatics tool,21 transcriptional factors binding sites were predicted with scores over 85 and 12 transcriptional factors binding sites were predicted when scores were higher than 95.
