Abstract
Objective To determine the significance of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c(HbA1c) in diagnosing gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods The levels of oral glucose tolerance test(OGTT) and HbA1c were determined in 87 patients with GDM,100 individuals of normal pregnancy,60 individuals of healthy woman. Results The positive rate of HbA1c in patients with GDM was 34.5%.Conclusion HbA1c could not alone screen and diagnose GDM.It could be with great clinical significance for evaluating the level of blood sugar control.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
