In the respect of Chinese energy consumption and pollutant emission,the iron and steel industry is an important industrial sector.The level,energy consumption per unit of product,is lower than the advanced level abroad.According to the current status of technical applications in Chinese iron and steel industry,the paper advances a way,which based on the technologies of energy-saving and emission reduction.In this way,energy-saving and emission reduction can be realized.And the development countermeasures of the energy saving technologies are discussed in the Chinese iron and steel industry.
