Abstract

Institutional entrepreneurship of privately-owned enterprises is essentially a process of legitimacy acquisition in transitional economy.Institutional entrepreneurial skills have a great impact on this process.Based on institutional entrepreneurship theory and legitimacy theory-three China private-owned enterprises are taken as the sample to analyze the relationship between institutional entrepreneurial skills and legitimacy acquisition.Then this paper reveals the effect of institutional entrepreneurial skills on legitimacy acquisition.The results show that privately-owned enterprises use different institutional entrepreneurial skills and acquire different legitimacy in every period of institutional entrepreneurship.Besides-different institutional entrepreneurial skills correspond to specific kind of legitimacy acquisition.
