Abstract

Yawan gold deposit is in the middle section of Luoba-Lixian fault which is a west branch of Lixian-Baiyun-Shanyang great faults, it is one of peripheral deposits around Liba big scale gold deposit. By the summarization of the stream sediment and rock microelement characteristics of deposit area, it is pointed out that the main microelements of the deposit are As, Bi, Sb, Ag, Hg, the accompanying elements which are close relation to gold deposit are Sb, As, Ag, Hg, Bi. The microelements of deposit are vertical zoning which sequence is Ag-Mo-Hg-Pb-Bi-Sb-Au-As-Zn-Cu from top to deep. By studying location of ore body and microelement vertical zonality, it is deemed that overall denudation degree of deposit is in upper, and potential to extend to west and east is high.
