Clinical significance of transvaginal ultrasonography in diagnosis of adenomyosis

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of transvaginal ultrasonography in diagnosis of adenomyosis.Methods:The characteristics in preoperative transvaginal ultrasonic examination in 109 patients with adenomyosis were compared with postoperative pathological feature.Rusults:The concidental rate of results of transvaginal ultrasonography and biopsy was 90.8%(99/109).Conclusion:Transvaginal ultrasonography is a reliable way in diagnosis of adenomynosis.
