Abstract
Objective To evaluate levels of endothelin(ET)andβ-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-hCG) and the relationship between them in patients with pregnancy induced hypertension(PIH),and to investigate the role of ET andβ-hCG in the pathogenesis of PIH. Methods By standard methods will be 70 cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension, divided into:35 cases of patients with Light degree, and 35 cases of Moderate、severe degree pregnancy-induced hypertension,30 cases normal women in late pregnancy;β-hCG determined by chemiluminescence method;Uric acid determined by biochemical analysis methods;ET by radioimmunoassay method. Results The contents of ET,β-hCG and Uric Acid in heavy, moderate PIH group were higher than normal were higher than in late pregnancy group(P0.05~0.01);The contents of ET and β-hCG in light degree group and normal in late pregnancy was no significant difference(P0.05). The contents of Uric Acid higher than normal in late pregnancy(P0.05);The contents of ET、β-hCG and Uric Acid in heavy, moderate PIH group higher than the light degree group(P0.05). The contents of ET,β-hCG and Uric Acid were positively correlated in heavy, moderate PIH group(r=0.5713,r=0.5688,r=0.5849,P0.05);The contents of ET and β-hCG were no correlated in light degree group and normal in late pregnancy(P0.05); Serum uric acid levels and blood pressure only weak correlation(r=0.2313). Conclusion The vascular endothelial cell injury and placental trophoblast cells may dysfunction related in heavy、 moderate PIH. Uric acid levels can be used as a hypertensive pregnant women to merge one of the methods of monitoring pregnancy-induced hypertension.
