Abstract

[Objective] Study the effects of spraying sucrose on soluble sugar content in fruits and leaves in blueberry.[Method] Two blueberry varieties were used as materials.Seasonal changes of soluble sugar contents in fruits and leaves and their relationship were studied, which were spraied different sucrose(0.1%,0.5% and 1.0%).[Result] Two varieties of the total soluble sugar content in leaves gradually increased during the whole period of fruit development(Bluecrop: early May to mid-July;Powderblue: the end of May to mid-August),however,change of soluble sugar content of each was different;the content of glucose and fructose were mainly accumulated in mellow fruit kept a high level, sucrose content was at a low lever, the process can be different increased levels of soluble sugar content of blueberry fruit during the whole period of fruit development,of which 0.5% sucrose solution spraying increased the most;leaves and fruit soluble sugar content were significantly related through the relationship between soluble sugar content in leaves and fruit.[Conclusion] 0.5% sucrose solution spraying increased the sugar content in blueberry fruit the most.
