EFFECTS OF SPRAYING SUCROSE ON SOLUBLE SUGAR CONTENTS IN FRUITS AND LEAVES OF BLUEBERRY

Two Blueberry varieties('Bluecrop' and 'Powderblue')were used as materials.Seasonal changes of soluble sugar contents in fruits and leaves and their relationship were studied,which were spraied different sucrose(0.1%,0.5% and 1%).Result showed that two varieties of the total soluble sugar content in leaves gradually increased during the whole period of fruit development(Bluecrop: early May to mid-July;Powderblue: the end of May to mid-August),However,changes of soluble sugar content of each is different;The content of glucose and fructose were mainly accumulated in mellow fruit kept a high level,and sucrose content was at a low lever,the process can be different increased levels of soluble sugar content of blueberry fruit during the whole period of fruit development,of which 0.5% sucrose solution spraying increased the most;leaves and fruit soluble sugar content was significantly related 0.5% sucrose solution spraying increased the sugar content in blueberry fruit the most.
