The Crisscross of Two Kinds of Revolution——The Epoch Realization of Zhao Shuli's Fictional Creation

The crisscross of revolution is discussed in the essay through an analysis of fictional narration from the factor of individual and society. A conclusion is reached that there exists a contradiction between the grass roots centered idea, realistic spirit and peasantry experiential conception of history in Zhao's fiction and the requirements in the narration of romantic and epic revolution. The contradiction leads to the misplacement of political words of the authority when Zhao was preaching the revolution. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that Zhao Shuli is an active pursuer of that era and a lagger as well.
