XU Zhimo is an excellent poet and an original poetic theorist.He holds that poem is the soul of poet and the singing of poet’s spirit.Poem is the highest level of language.And the soul of poem is musical.Poetry writing cannot do with only inspiration,it needs artistic consciousness as well.Nature endows man with sight,hearing and feeling for observation,listening and thought,and imagination as a latent realization is also important.With all these abilities can a poem be successful.
