Abstract
In the presence of hydrochloric acid solution, platinum reacts with p-aminobenzylidenerhodanine(ABR) and forms a 2∶1 stable complex with molar absorptivity of 5.98×10 4L·mol -1 ·cm -1 at 525nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0-50μg/25mL.This method was applied to the determination of platinum in catalyst with good results.
