On Zhong Jingwen's Research into Folk Literature from the Perspective of Meta-Literary Studies

This article discusses the basis and main concepts of Zhong Jingwen --who has been recognized as father of Chinese folk literature --in his research into folk literature,and then analyzes the logic starting point of his research and the great influence of his theories on Chinese folk literature. It is hoped that such analysis will contribute to the construction of Chinese folk literary theories.
