Study on the ethos of University Teachers' Spirit

The ethos of University teachers' spirit refers to under the interaction between internal academic purpose and outside society' needs,university teachers formed the special spirit character in the practice of educating.Independence,searching,creative and benevolence are the based ethos of the university teachers' spirit,and they are originated in European middle Ages.This paper analyzes the problem of the loss of university teacher's ethos in a certain degree in modern society,and thinks about a series of efficient policies to deal with the formation of university teachers' spirit ethos.
