Abstract
Objective To evaluate the cytotoxicity and clinical use safety of the heparin coated modified PVC material. Methods By in vitro L-929 mouse fibroblast cells culture and MTT assay, the cytotoxicity and relative growth rate(RGR)of heparin coated modified PVC and modified PVC materials were evaluated. Results The OD value and RGR of the heparin coated modified PVC and modified PVC materials were superior to traditional PVC.MTT assay results showed the heparin coating technique didn't affect the RGR of artificial material. Conclusion The heparin coated modified PVC material has good cyto-compatibility and can be safely applied to clinical use.
