Yang Shen on the Poetic Theories in the Six Dynasties

In the early years of Jia jing of Ming Dynasty, Yang Shen did not only rest his creation of the poetics on tracing back to the Six Dynasties,but also consolidated his poetics by the pioneering with diligent care on the level of criticisms of poetics.Starting from the literary standard,he declared the initiating meaning of the poems of the Six Dynasties to the poems of T'ang Dynasty by investigating emphatically that the poetic arts of the Six Dynasties was the origin of T'ang Poetic meter and it was learned to use by T'ang poets.He developed the field and methods of poetic criticism of the Six Dynasties especially by the combing of the poems of the Six Dynasties documentarily and the combination with the criticism of some extent.
