Abstract
Poems in Poetry,formally starting in DU Fu's Show for Six Quatrains, gradually increased in number and was in the ascendant during the mid and late Northern Song Dynasty. SU Dong-po and HUANG Ting-jian both have their instruments on poetry and so does LI Zhi-yi who puts forward his own unique ideas. This paper, taking three of LI Zhi-yi's poems as examples, expounds his opinions of poetry writing and the evaluation of poetry of the previous dynasties,aiming to reflect the philosophical characteristics of the poems of the Song Dynasty.
