Abstract

The main purpose of the experiment is to study the change of three targets including germination rate, germination energy and germination index of corn inbred lines in seed germination and growth process under different salt stress treatments. The results showed that the germination of H80 and Zixuan 205 was not inhibited by the stress of 3~6 g/L NaCl solution concentration, but the germination of B708 inhibited;the threshold concentration of NaCl solution affecting the germination of corn was 9 g/L.Under salt stress, the germination rate, germination energy and germination index decreased greatly.Salt stress inhibited the growth of roots and sprouts during the germinating stage of corn;the inhibition effect to roots was greater than that to sprouts under low salt concentration of 3 g/L.Different corn inbred lines showed different responses to salt stress.Among three corn inbred lines,Zixuan 205 and H80 were relatively good in salt-tolerance,while B708 relatively sensitive to salt.
