Abstract
There are many gold deposits occurring in the Dahalajunshan Group of Carboniferous in western Tianshan, Xinjiang, China. Based on the investigations of geological characteristics of the gold and copper deposit in Shuimogou, the metallogenic law of such a deposit can be summarized as follows. Intermediate acid lava in the Dahalajunshan Formation of Carboniferous is the resource bed; Regional faults are the routes of carrying metallogenic elements, in which the little faults are the interspace of containing minerals ; Granite is the energy resource; Dynamical metamorphism under greenschist facies is the condition of mineralizing enrichment. The genesis of the gold deposits of the fragmented altered rock type.
