Discovery and geological characteristics of No. 1 gold deposit in Wusun mountain, Xinjiang

Abstract

The No.1 gold deposit, a new type gold deposit in Yishijike mountain Au Cu metallogenic belt in Wusun Mountain area, is discovered by checking geochemical prospecting anomaly. The mineralization zones(bodies) are strictly controlled by the faulted structural zones and the Variscan epoch′s granitic complex. The gold orebody has characteristics of large size, good continuty, stable occurrence and poor sulfide.
